We chat with NathanFillion about his GuardiansoftheGalaxyVol3 character, collaborating with James Gunn, and the possibility of reappearing in DC:
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will follow the Guardians as they adjust to life on Knowhere and try to help Peter Quill as he continues to mourn Gamora. However, a threat from Rocket's past reappears, putting his life in danger. Peter and the other Guardians will work to protect their own and fight one of the greatest evils they have ever faced. While the Guardians will do whatever it takes to save Rocket, their failure could mean the end of the Guardians of the Galaxy.
Yeah, a little bit, a little bit. Talk to me how he kind of connects with Peter in a way through their friends. Yeah, he does such an incredible job with his writing and the way that he kind of just fleshes out the family element in really everything he does, even though some of that stuff may be zany, it all absolutely works.
You got to be a part of the peak Guardians moment from this film with the crazy action, big action, and then a bonkers, crazy comedy. What was it like to film that type of action style? Iit felt like James Gunn was writing a comic book story arc, and the arc is now complete. Now it's going to go wherever it goes. So, it really got that, I got that feel with that trilogy.
