National City police investigating kidnapping, pistol whipping of 76-year-old woman [Breaking]
A 76-year-old woman was pistol whipped and kidnapped by two gunmen inside a National City church Wednesday evening — then driven to her home in San Diego — before being returned to National City and left in her car, a police official said.
The men demanded the victim’s address and drove her to that location. After arriving, no one got out of the car and the victim was driven back to National City, police said. “We have detectives that have been working this since yesterday and we are trying to gather video surveillance in the area where this occurred... trying to piece together what led up to this and the motive,” he said.She talked with patrol officers and is expected to interviewed by detectives, Aydelotte said.
