Recently, a cryptic tweet sent out by author Neil Gaiman had fans thinking that a second season of the hit Netflix series The Sandman was coming.
Taking to Twitter earlier this week, Gaiman sent out a tweet mentioning that it would be “nice” if there were more than just the ten episodes ofin its first season. A fan asked if this meant that a second season was coming, which Gaiman promptly denied. According to the author, Netflix is waiting on how the series does during its first month on the streaming service before committing to anything further.
While the streamer may not be ready to commit to a second season, it seems highly unlikely the show will end anytime soon. Early reports from various analytics groups, including one from Parrot Analytics , cites thathas easily been one of the biggest and best shows for Netflix in its history.
