The DFW-headquartered studio will now be a part of the streaming giant’s push into a video game market worth hundreds of billions globally.

The Allen-based studio behind mobile gaming hit Dungeon Boss has been bought by streaming giant Netflix.

In Netflix’s announcement of the deal, the company said that the studio’s future work will be available to Netflix viewers through their subscriptions and that it hopes to build games with no in-app purchases or ads. Netflix’s post did not detail any specific intellectual property the development studio would be working on, and it is unclear whether Dungeon Boss will move onto Netflix’s platform. The title is currently available in the Google Play Store and the iOs App Store.

“We couldn’t be more excited to join Netflix at this early stage as we continue doing what we love to do while helping to shape the future of games on Netflix together,” Boss Fight’s founders said in a statement.According to analytics firm SensorTower, Boss Fight’s mobile strategy role-playing game Dungeon Boss generates around $60,000 per month in revenue.
