Netflix Renews ‘Sweet Tooth’ For Season 3 Just A Week After Season 2

Is Netflix's 'Sweet Tooth' renewed for season 3?

I don’t know what’s going on with Netflix lately, but they are really picking up the pace when it comes to renewals of shows that seem to be doing well. Usually, it used to take anywhere from 4-6 weeks to renew a show, even one that was clearly doing performing, but now? The Night Agent andwere picked up for second seasons in just two weeks each.

The announcement cites a very solid 48.3 million viewing hours in season 2’s first four days, which no doubt contributed to the fast renewal. Sweet Tooth is kind of a sleeper hit for Netflix, one that you don’t see that many headlines about, but it’s a solid performer in terms of viewership and critically as well. Season 1 had a 97% onseason of the show, it’s a rare series on Netflix that will in fact get a beginning, middle and end.
