Warren’s allies are already trying to downplay expectations because of that. The PCCC, a group of fairly … vocal supporters of Warren, sent out an email from a Nevadan who said they caucused early with Buttigieg as their first choice, but now wished they could vote for Warren: “I worry that tonight’s results will not fully represent the groundswell that is growing for Elizabeth Warren after she dismantled billionaire Mike Bloomberg in the last debate.
And, of course, I’m keeping a watch on whether there are any problems with the caucus. Jeff Weaver, Sanders’ senior adviser, told me that the campaign has not received early vote data from the Nevada Democratic Party that they said they would get by now. “So that begs the question … there’s been a huge early vote total. Are they able to process that in time for the caucus?” he said.
