The Amazon facility is expected to make a large infrastructure and economic impact in York County, creating more than 25,000 jobs and investing $21.6 billion.
YORK COUNTY, Pa. — A new Amazon Fulfillment Center in York County is joining the nearly 40 other fulfillment centers across the Commonwealth.
“We are constantly evaluating our network trying to see where we can put sites to optimize our logistics network, and central Pennsylvania is an area that is home to a lot of our operations in the state,” said Sam Fisher, an Amazon spokesperson. “This site has already created over a thousand jobs,” said Fisher. “It’s creating great high-paying positions that comes with fantastic day one benefits.”
