RLJE Films releases a new poster for Arcadian, an upcoming post-apocalyptic horror movie that stars Nicolas Cage.
“In a near future, normal life on Earth has been decimated,” the official synopsis reads. “Paul and his two sons, Thomas and Joseph, have been living a half-life – tranquility by day and torment by night. Every night, after the sun sets, they face the unrelenting attacks of a mysterious and violent evil. One day, when Thomas doesn’t return home before sundown, Paul must leave the safety of their fortified farm to find him.
Arcadian stars Cage as Paul, while Martell plays Joseph and Jenkins plays Thomas. Sadie Soverall, Samantha Coughlan, Joe Dixon, and Joel Gillman also star in the film., who previously made 2011’s Beneath Contempt and 2016’s The Trust. Brewer was also the lead visual effects artist on 2022’s Everything Everywhere All at Once.
The script was written by Michael Nilon, who also produces the movie alongside Cage, David M. Wulf, Arianne Fraser, Delphine Perrier, and Braxton Pope. Henry Winterstern, Richard Lechartier, Jamal Sannan, Macdara Kelleher, Jake Van Wagoner, Slava Vladimirov, Jared Underwood, and Andrew C. Robinson serve as executive producers.
Arcadian held its world premiere at South by Southwest earlier this month.
