30 Inches Of OLED, Sophisticated Design: Buick Unveils The Interior Of The Electra E5 In China | Carscoops carscoops
Buick today unveiled the interior of the Electra E5 all-electric crossover. The Chinese model is the brand’s first to be based on the Ultium platform, and its interior promises oodles of tech and a dignified amount of classy styling, some of which may eventually make it to the U.S. market.
The most attention-grabbing part of the interior is undoubtedly the 30-inch large OLED display, which acts as both the infotainment screen and the instrument cluster. Capable of reflecting up to a billion colors smoothly, the screen is sure to impress.drivers will have access to, though. While on the road, they will also be given important driving information on a 12.6-inch heads-up display, to help them keep their eyes on the road at all times.
The displays will be running on the latest generation of the Buick eConnect system, which offers owners multimedia content with built-in apps. Drivers will also be able to control many of the Electra E5’s features with voice commands.Wireless Apple CarPlay and phone charging will also come standard on the vehicle, and it will be equipped with an iKey that allows keyless access.
