Houston Methodist Willowbrook opens new sports medicine clinic in Spring
Courtesy of Houston Methodist WillowbrookHouston Methodist Willowbrook recently celebrated the opening of its newest clinic, providing rehabilitation, physical therapy and other services to athletes in the Spring area.
“They’re basically able to get everything they want from the sports medicine and orthopedic services team of care out there,” Hannahs said. “It’s really a community calling.” “It’s really providing a full complement of sports services from injury care to rehab and restorative functioning with a physical therapist and strength and conditioning with Athletic Training and Health,” she said. “That really assists those types of sports medicine patients to be able to get the ultimate return to play process which is what’s awesome about this.”
“From your student athlete to your weekend warrior to your elite-level pro,” she said. “That same day, they can come in, see that physician, they can come over and get physical therapy that identifies a treatment plan for that particular client and then at some point in the process they also can get injury strength and conditioning, the last stage.”
