In terms of specifications, the Opel Astra Electric is offered with a front-mounted electric motor producing 154 hp and a 54 kWh battery offering a WLTP range of 416 km . The closest rival is the VW ID.3 Pro with a rear-mounted electric motor producing 143 hp and a 58 kWh battery offering a range of 425 km .
Measuring 4,374 mm long, the Opel Astra is 112 mm longer than the VW ID.3, however it has a 90 mm shorter wheelbase which has an effect on the passenger space. The ID.3 also has different proportions with a shorter bonnet and a more rounded silhouette than the Astra.
