The owner of the Planet Fitness gym in Fairview Heights is leaving the chain and going independent as Blue Fire Fitness. The switchover is planned for December.The 21,000-square-foot Planet Fitness gym is equipped with cardio machines, strength equipment, a 30-minute express circuit, fully furnished locker room and walls of television screens.
