, an intimate upscale steakhouse, opened last week in a hidden warren inside Savoir in the Heights.
Rare’s menu features a top-shelf lineup of Prime steaks, seafood, and Southern-inspired dishes such as bourbon-glazed pork chop, sweet potato souffle, and sweet corn brulee. There’s also char-broiled oysters, collard greens and artichoke dip, crispy Cajun calamari, and white macaroni and cheese with truffle, lobster, crab or bacon.
“I’m honored to be bringing another dining concept to life in Houston, especially in the booming Washington Corridor,” Bowie said. “Rare is a unique concept that offers locals somewhere they can experience live entertainment, premier steak and seafood cuisine, and signature cocktails in an upscale and high-energy atmosphere.”
