The New York Giants are reportedly leaning toward starting Jake Fromm at quarterback on Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Despite the positives, Judge noted, “There’s a big difference between starting an entire NFL game and coming in at the end of the game when the team is playing more of a two-minute prevent mode. That’s not a knock on Jake; it’s just the reality and the truth.”
The following week, in a game against the Dallas Cowboys, rookie Kent Graham was given the starting assignment ahead of Dave Brown, the Giants’ first-round pick in the 1992 supplemental draft. In that game, a 30-3 Giants loss, Graham went 12-of-28 for 151 yards. If he does indeed get the opportunity to start, Fromm, who’s been trying to keep a level head and focus on his preparation, said he hopes to do what he’s always done for the teams he’s played for.
