Faculty members will hold joint appointments in one or more academic or clinical departments, including the Department of Microbiology, Biochemistry and Molecular Genetics, The Department of Medicine, The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, The Department of Cell Biology and Molecular Medicine, The Department of Pharmacology, Physiology & Neuroscience, and The Department of Radiology.
Qualified candidates must have a doctoral degree , outstanding academic credentials, and have completed a postdoctoral fellowship or be a candidate for the NIH Director’s Early Independence Award. In addition, applicants must have demonstrated ability to obtain extramural funding for translational research. Rank will be commensurate with experience. Women and minorities are encouraged to apply.
The application package should include, in a single pdf file: A one-page Cover Letter outlining relevance of research experience and interests to position description, curriculum vitae, Statement of current and proposed research plan , and contact information for three references. Review of applications will begin in September 2024 and will continue until the positions have been filled.
