The New York Giants may look to move on from quarterback Daniel Jones amid his injury history.
The New York Giants hold the number six pick in the upcoming 2024 NFL draft. There are plenty of ways they could go, including wide receiver, edge rusher, cornerback, offensive lineman, etc. There's no way they need a quarterback with Daniel Jones on the squad, right? Or so we think. Not only is Jones coming off a torn ACL, which he suffered in early November of the 2023 season, but his injury concern is also worrisome.
It's unclear when and if Jones will be back in 2024, so the Giants will need Lock or maybe their potential top rookie quarterback to handle the reigns for the time being. Giants head coach Brian Daboll ensured that Jones is the guy telling NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.Don't tell me; show me. We'll see what the Giants front office will do in the upcoming draft. If they draft a quarterback with their first pick, I think that tells us all we need to know.
