Nicolas Cage’s son Weston Coppola Cage arrested for assault with deadly weapon
The estranged mother-son duo was seen arriving at a Los Angeles courthouse on Wednesday, where Weston declared his not guilty plea.
The 33-year-old was arrested earlier this month after Fulton, 57, alleged that he assaulted her in April. It’s unclear why the charges were delayed.they responded to a call at Fulton’s home after the mixed martial artist allegedly “punched two victims multiple times.” The second alleged victim has not been identified.
“When I arrived to offer support and console him, he was already in the midst of a manic rage,” she alleged. “Within minutes, I was brutally assaulted and sustained serious injuries.”Fulton claimed she pleaded with police “to detain him for a mental-health evaluation” but they allegedly “refused” her request.
