A 9-year-old Midlothian, Texas, girl was run over by a truck after a suspect attempted to carjack her family's rental car, Louisiana police say.
The girls’ father ran toward the car when a vehicle driven by a second person “attempted to run him over but then saw [Shelby], stopped, and took off towards her, running her over,” the page says. “By the grace of God, Shelby rolled under the truck, missing the tires but still sustained serious injuries.”
“The suspect in the truck just floored it and barreled over the 9-year-old,” McIver said. “Runs over the little girl, takes off, picks the other suspect up and then they flee the scene.”
