North Texas basketball coach retires after 44 years
Desoto High Schools Boys Basketball coach, Richard Bacon, announces he is retiring from coaching after 44 years in North Texas.
KRLD most recently caught up with this coaching veteran after his big win at the McDonald's All-Star game in Houston. Bacon led Team East to defeat the West, 109- 106, marking his 702nd game win.

The Texas Department of Transportation says there were more than 25,000 crashes in work zones last year.
