CLEVELAND, Ohio - Another hot and humid day is in progress, with more heat and humidity to come!Lakeshore communities won’t even drop into the 60s overnight.In terms of storm chances, this part of the forecast is exceptionally challenging.
In this warm and humid air mass, isolated showers and thunderstorms may develop at any time over the next several hours. Not everyone will see rain this evening but where thunderstorms do develop, they may produce gusty winds and heavy rain. Isolated storms will remain possible through Thursday, as a frontal boundary will linger across our southern tier of counties.Friday will be the final day of the really, really hot pattern.A cold front will pass through the area Friday evening into Saturday.
This feature will be the focus for scattered shower and thunderstorm development Friday night and Saturday morning.Temperatures will be sharply cooler on Saturday.However, it will still be a little muggy.While it will be warm Sunday, with highs in the lower 80s, it will be a lot less humid.Monday will be the coolest day of the forecast with highs in the lower 70s.
