USS Connecticut was reportedly operating in the South China Sea when the accident grounded the U.S. Navy ship last month.
Coming on the back of thesecurity pact between the U.S., U.K. and Australia, Beijing is also using USS Connecticut's collision to suggest fears of a possible nuclear leak.
