NYC may avoid another rainy weekend before October’s out
Local Halloween partygoers and others, rejoice: no rain is currently predicted in the New York City area next weekend, which follows seven consecutive weekends of rain and comes just days before the spooky holiday.
Forecasters are expecting mostly sunny skies and above-normal temperatures in the low- to mid- 70s next Saturday and Sunday, according to NWS.were “a little on the unusual side” for the New York metro's weather around this time of year, but noted that such patterns happen occasionally. NWS records show more rain was measured at Central Park last month than in any September since 1883.
