Oakland will celebrate its basketball champions this Sunday with a parade.
“It’s a great event for the community to celebrate some of the positive things going on in Oakland,” Navarro said. “It’s an exciting time for the kids to be able to celebrate … it’s been great to have the support of the city.”will start at Children’s Fairyland by Lake Merritt at 11:30 a.m. The teams will travel east down Grand Ave. before taking a right on Embarcadero.
