Police confirmed Saturday afternoon that the 31-year-old victim was an off-duty Chicago Police officer.
An off-duty Chicago Police officer was shot in the back during a quarrel outside a bar in Beverly early Saturday morning.Multiple shots were fired after the altercation and the officer was struck once in the back, police said.A source close to the investigation identified the 31-year-old officer who was shot as Daniel Golden.
