An officer fatally shot a man Monday morning while responding to a burglary call inShortly after 11:30 a.m., someone who lives in the 300 block of Polk Street called 911 and said an unknown man “brandishing an unknown item” was burglarizing their home.
Nunez “advanced toward” an officer, who then shot him, police said. He died at the scene, according to police.
