Cornerback Cameron Brown suffered a stinger in Ohio State's loss to Michigan last month, prompting an early exit.
The loss to the Wolverines was especially tough for Brown. Not only did he sustain another injury, but his missed tackle of wide receiver Cornelius Johnson in the second quarter also proved especially costly.
The reception left him short of picking up a first down, but when Brown closed in to make a tackle, he could only get his right hand on him, allowing Johnson to break loose, turn toward the sideline and take off for a 69-yard touchdown, the first time Michigan had reached the end zone as it tied the score at 10 apiece.
“I feel like it set a little fire to us,” Brown said. “I feel like our team has become more together.”
