It was flagged as part of Meta’s efforts to combat false news and misinformation on its News Feed. (Read more about ourSouth Carolina , but we found no evidence that he’s declared a national emergency, as the Facebook post suggests, or has dispatched the National Guard to locations where people aren’t allowed to leave. We rate that claim False.

Vermont State Police investigate theft of cruiser, police rifle in RutlandVermont State Police say they are investigating the theft of one of its police cruisers as well as a patrol rifle that was in the vehicle. Police say the cruiser was stolen from outside a residence in Rutland between 2 a.m. and 5 a.m. Tuesday. The vehicle was found somewhere else in the city but the rifle had been removed.
