The male victim’s injuries were described as not life-threatening.
SAN JOSE – A person was injured in a shooting over the weekend near San Jose State University, authorities said.
The shooting was reported around 12:15 a.m. Saturday across the street from The Grad, a student housing development at 88 East San Carlos St, said San Jose police Sgt. Jorge Garibay.The victim is believed to have walked into The Grad after being shot, Garibay said. Additional information about the case, including an update on the victim, was not immediately available Monday.
