One killed in early morning Denver shooting on Colorado Boulevard

Police are still investigating the shooting and said Colorado Boulevard is closed at 9th Avenue

Officers began investigating the shooting about 4 a.m. in the 1100 block of Colorado Boulevard after a person was injured, the Denver Police Department said in a tweet.

UPDATE: The victim in this shooting has been pronounced deceased. Northbound Colorado Blvd. is closed at E. 9th Ave. during the investigation. Alternate routes advised.. Police did not provide a time for reopening and advised drivers to find alternate routes.
