South Street Seaport’s Bridge Cafe has remained closed since superstorm Sandy. Its former manager still hopes to revive it.Standing inside a 226-year-old building at the edge of cobblestoned Water Street in Manhattan’s South Street Seaport, Adam Weprin conjured up a plan to awaken old ghosts.
“We used to hear them, the ghosts stomping upstairs,” said Mr. Weprin, 54 years old, walking through the small, dusty barroom of the Bridge Cafe.
