With its cast of familiar faces already back at the forefront, star David Yost reveals how he helped bring back one original writer for Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always. The Netflix special acted as a continuation of the fan-favorite TV show, with the Rangers having to reunite when Rita Repulsa is resurrected in robotic form and takes down one of their own.

I personally didn't get to talk to her, but I feel responsible for her being involved because there was a lot of discretion discussion about the scripts and one of the first scripts we got, I was like, "I don't know about that." They were like, "Well, maybe we should bring in one of these writers." They named off these names, and I said, "Jackie. Yes, bring Jackie.
