The crash closed down the road for three hours.
Daniel Urie | [email protected] from the Lancaster City Bureau of Police responded to a vehicle crash in the 300 block of North Plum Street involving an overturned vehicle with people trapped inside of a vehicle.
The crash involved two vehicles, but officials said only one of them was occupied at the time of the crash. Lancaster City Fire Department personnel were able to extricate the trapped people from the occupied vehicle. The two people were taken to a local hospital. One sustained life-threatening injuries and as of Thursday morning was still in critical condition, police said.The Lancaster City Bureau of Police Crash Team is leading the investigation. Police said that these type of investigations are extensive and time consuming but they will provide additional information once it’s available.
