Opinion: City of San Diego can't keep nickel-and-diming its taxpayers [Opinion]
We can start with renegotiating the franchise fee paid by San Diego Gas & Electric. A similar case can be made for the large hotel chains that are able to take advantage of our city being a desirable place to visit.
Why not have these corporations pay more for income they receive from people desiring to live in or visit our city?
