Opinion: Mass shootings in Buffalo, Houston, Orange County drive calls for action on gun violence [Opinion]

When is the leadership in this nation going to take a courageous stand against this senseless violence and provide the necessary tools to deal with this kind of sickness? It isn’t easy and it isn’t one thing — it is a collection of many.

Thanks to the wimpy Democratic Party for doing absolutely nothing while controlling the Senate and the House. Everyone should have as many guns as they want for hunting and protection. No one should have hand grenades, landmines, assault rifles or other weapons of war. The aspiring fascist makes people angry, frustrated, insecure and cynical of democracy. They convince supporters that their problems stem from “them,” foreigners, immigrants, intellectuals, racial, ethnic, religious groups, etc. They rig the justice system to legalize their attempts to subvert democracy and marginalize the voting power of those aligned against them.The results of Americans’ right to own semi-automatic weapons is on full display today.
