Opinion: The Israeli side of the Israel-Palestine conflict has always fallen on deaf ears [Opinion]

My intention here therefore is solely to provide some clarifications that hopefully will balance the picture and help do justice to the complex truth. Towards the end of the British Mandate of Palestine in 1947, the Commission of Inquiry established by the United Nations reached the conclusion that Palestine should be divided between the two peoples. The territory that was designated for the Jewish state was tiny, more painfully it excluded Jerusalem, and yet the Jewish side accepted the partition plan.
