Opinion: Why Biden’s methane fee is good for U.S. oil and gas
The oil and gas industry needs to embrace the methane fee in the Inflation Reduction Act. At a time when climate-conscious Europe and Asia are growingof U.S. natural gas, the methane fee presents an opportunity to demonstrate that the United States has the world’s cleanest supply of natural gas.
Addressing methane emissions from the oil and gas industry is a global challenge.
