Upset Oracle Corp. employees are calling on Larry Ellison to cancel an upcoming fundraiser he’s hosting for President Donald Trump.
Ellison is scheduled to host the fundraiser Wednesday at his estate in Rancho Mirage, Calif., according to news reports. The event will offer a golf outing and photos with Trump for $100,000, and photos, golf and a round-table discussion with Trump for $250,000, the Palm Springs Desert Sun reported. Ellison’s financial support “endangers the well-being of women, immigrants, communities of color, the environment, LGBTQ and trans communities, disabled people, and workers everywhere,” they said, and “his alliance with this ignoble and destructive figure damages our company culture as well as our relationships with partners and customers.”
