Lauren Carrier was stabbed 10 times but repelled the home invader with a baseball bat.

Carrier managed to grab the bat and fought back. She escaped out of her front door but collapsed outside, the television station reported.The man was identified as Bryan Andrew Aguilera, 27, of Woodburn, according to Washington County Sheriff’s Office online booking records. Aguilera was charged with first-degree attempted murder, first-degree assault, unlawful use of a weapon and first-degree burglary, online records show.
Carrier said she spent more than a week in the hospital and has been unable to work since the attack, KATU reported.
