Sept. 9 marked one year since the death of Baeleigh Emily Maurice after she was struck by a pickup truck at a marked crosswalk.

Students from Oskayak High School took part in a rally midday Friday to honour Baeleigh Emily Maurice. The students walked from their school, across the Broadway Bridge and back carrying signs with messages of support for the girl who died after she was struck by a vehicle at a marked intersection last Sept. 9.
