“That's just not who she is,” Davis said. “She was always letting us know where she was at, where she was going and she was always answering her phone.” Since Williams went missing, her family has organized search parties in different parts of Indianapolis.after learning that was the location of her last cellphone ping. A group also searched for Williams near Montgomery Park last year, close to where she was last seen.
“Nakyla would usually organize what we were going to do in December to remember Uncle Charles,” Davis said. “It's different because she wasn't here last year. Now we have to go through that again this year. The holidays are tough without her, too.”
