A total of 114 guns and 49,148 rounds of ammunition were seized. Among them were eight ghost guns and 17 assault weapons.

The remainder were 55 handguns, 19 rifles and 15 shotguns. In addition, 87 high-capacity magazines, which are illegal to own in California, were also collected. State and regional law enforcement seized 114 guns from people legally prohibited from owning firearms during a five-day sweep across 51 cities in the Los Angeles area, California Attorney General Rob Bonta said during a news conference Tuesday, Feb. 22.
