As wind gusts sweep across the state, over 500 flights were delayed or canceled Monday at Denver International Airport.
. On average, inbound flights were delayed at their origin for over an hour and outbound flights were delayed by a little less than 20 minutes.
Between 6 a.m. and 10 a.m. Monday, 47 flights were delayed and 3 were canceled because of high wind. Affected airlines include United, Southwest, American and Alaska Airlines, according to flight status data from DIA.
