Richard Hall, 53, was arrested on charges of burglary, robbery, criminal trespass, theft and simple assault.
According to an affidavit, police were sent to a residence on Dwight Drive on Sept. 9 for a reported burglary.
Hall reportedly demanded $10,000 cash from the victim, which she told him she did not have, police said. According to the affidavit, Hall stole two containers of change from the woman’s bedroom, valued at about $100, as well as a garage door remote and the woman’s cordless telephone. Police said Hall was later identified on a surveillance video at a nearby store. The video showed him walking to the victim’s residence, WJAC said.
