Corey Quincy has been charged with homicide and other charges in the death of Rhonda Pearce.

Police say a Northumberland County man charged with killing a woman with a sword told them he did it, was evil, and should suffer.

He became upset, punched her in the face, began attacking her and pinned her down. She was screaming, tried to defend herself and threatened to call police. The crime was discovered Friday after his father, then a patient in Geisinger Shamokin Area Community Hospital, asked police to check on his son because he thought something was wrong at the house and that Pearce was dead.
