Damien Wilson, 19, has been on the run since the shooting but was taken into custody by U.S. Marshals on Thursday at a Philadelphia home.
According to reports, Anthony Vitelli, 47, was shot along the 800 block of Arch Street in Norristown on Oct. 7, 2022. He was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Authorities said they believe Wilson was attempting to shoot another man because the man’s friend had shot Wilson in the leg on July 27, 2022. Police said Wilson was also wanted on an unrelated August 2022 incident, where they say he entered his girlfriend’s home and choked her.
