The 29-year-old woman was arrested early Saturday morning and charged with felony child endangerment and summary public drunkenness. She was sent to Northampton County Prison in lieu of $10,000 bail, court papers say.Bethlehem police were called at 12:43 a.m. Saturday after a witness saw the woman fall while carrying the 3-year-old girl near High Street in the city.
The witness reported the little girl was shivering and only wearing a thin jacket, so he held the girl and wrapped her in his jacket to try and warm her up, according to police. It was unknown if the woman was wearing a coat.
