The Packers have reached out to a former Pro Bowl QB amid the injury to Jordan Love.
During the opening Friday game of the NFL season, Green Bay Packers star quarterback Jordan Love went down with an injury. It was feared that he tore his ACL but after scans came back, it showed just some MCL straining.This was about as good of news as the Packers could have hoped for but Love will miss some time. Green Bay was seen as a potential Super Bowl contender entering the NFL season so this is a significant blow to their overall chances.
'Sources say it would take a playoff contender in need of a quarterback, a team with a strong offensive line and offensive weapons. The money also would have to be right.'Tannehill also spoke earlier this offseason, saying that he isn't looking to come back but if the right opportunity presented itself, he would take it.'Maybe a guy goes down and a team gives me a call, you never know what's going to happen, right?' Tannehill said in July.
