Or any game most of players have played in the major leagues.“This is gonna be my earliest start, for sure,” Eric Hosmer said. “That’s gonna be a tough one.” Starting pitcher Joe Musgrove is an early riser on game days. He wakes up six hours before game time. He’ll set the alarm for 5:30 a.m. Sunday morning. That’s 2 a.m. body clock time for the San Diegan.
“That’s who I am,” Cano said. “If I’m going to be in a place, I’m going to be a part of it. I know how it feels to have a teammate congratulate you.”
