A man who works at a Park Ridge private school for children with special needs is out on bond after the Cook County State’s Attorney’s office indicted him for two counts of predatory criminal sexual assault, including one that specified a victim under 13.

A Forest Park man who works at a Park Ridge private school for children with special needs is out on bond after the Cook County State’s Attorney’s officeincluding one that specified a victim under 13. Court records show the alleged crimes did not take place at the school. Court records show that Anthony Meza’s mother posted $25,000 in bail May 24, the evening he was charged.Meza has worked as a support staff member at the Jeanine Schultz School, a private therapeutic day school on the 2100 block of Oakton Street in Park Ridge, since 2021, according to the school’s director, Michael Biskupski. The alleged crime took place in Des Plaines, according to a complaint presented in court.
Biskupski appeared in court to deliver an affidavit to Cook County Circuit Court Judge Anthony Calabrese vouching for Meza’s performance as an employee, and Biskupski had earlier told Pioneer Press Meza would be able to return to work if he posted bond.
