Bailey Nielsen, 11, appeared before lawmakers in Boise, Idaho alongside her grandfather, Charles Nielsen, as they debated whether to allow visitors to the state to carry concealed handguns.

It was used in recent deadly mass killings in Aurora, Las Vegas, Texas and San Bernadino, according to CNN.In Idaho, no state permit is needed for the purchase of any rifle, shotgun or handgun for those over 18 who reside in the state,Lawmakers are debating whether to extend that to any U.S. resident or member of the armed services.
"Even though I didn't have to pull the trigger, just the fact that they could see it, and they knew that I had it, was the determining factor," Zito said.Zito said:"Idahoans believe that we have a natural right to self-defense and the Second Amendment was intended to protect that right.
